Richard García es originario de la Republica Dominicana, donde conoció el Evangelio de Jesucristo a la temprana edad de 13 años, convirtiéndose en el primer miembro de su familia en aceptarlo Estudio en la Universidad de las Antillas, en Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, termino sus estudios en Teología en el año 1999. Allí en la Universidad Dios le permitió desarrollar su liderazgo y fue nombrado por los alumnos y la facultad docente como Director de Ministerios Estudiantiles y luego como Presidente del Consejo de Estudiantes.
